I've definitely lagged on writing posts lately. Sorry Miss Molly. I hit the 38 week mark yesterday and no sign of labor. I had Oliver at 37 weeks 6 days. Little girl is measuring big. At my last appointment she was estimated to weigh 7 lb 6 oz and her head measured 2 weeks ahead. Ouch! Good news is I've only gained 28 pounds so far. I was 41 pounds at this time with Oliver. Total weight now is 138 lbs.
I'm now going weekly to see my OB and she checked me this morning and I'm 1.5 cm dilated and my cervix is very soft. She went ahead and stripped my membranes to see if that will speed things along. It didn't feel too good but it was quick. Now I'm cramping non-stop and have very light spotting. I'm wondering if she'll come tomorrow, 12/12/12. I hope!!! If she doesn't come this week then I will be induced at 39 weeks. I really don't want her to come at Christmas time. Its not a good birthday for her and I don't want to be apart from Oliver. I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has going. It wont be long until I get to meet my little girl.
